More Mimobots

Posted in Neato Gadgets by Eric on August 17th, 2007

I recently received a new car stereo as a gift and my far my favourite of its many features is the front panel USB slot. No futzing about with aux inputs or iPod connectors required. I just slide my USB drive into the slot and it’s ready to go with however many songs I was able to stuff in there.

I’m currently using a Sandisk Cruzer 4GB drive, and while it matches the stereo (even down to the file access light), it’s rather boring, isn’t it?

Why use something small, unobtrusive and purely functional when you can use a mimobot drive?

I wrote about these before, but my new music-induced flash drive usage brought me back to the overly cute drives. Since that last post, there have been a few new lines released, including the Core Mimobots Series 2 and a Happy Tree Friends Series. To be honest, though, I still just want the Stormtrooper.

Oh, and for all the dirty mimobot pics and random assorted junk strewn everywhere, check out their MySpace page.
