If you’re in the market for a new keyboard and the latest offerings from Logitech and Microsoft haven’t caught your eye, then may I suggest the 2000-DT-TB-USB from Stealth Computer?

This thing is so badass it doesn’t even need the marketing jackals to invent a flashy name for it. And forget the flimsy plastic casings we’re used to, this thing is made from “a highly rugged, stainless steel case and industrial silicone rubber pad, ensuring NEMA 4X protection.” I had never even heard of this NEMA standard, but it makes me hot either way.

It brings to me fond memories of my old IBM Model M. I sure miss the deafening clatter that thing would make as my fingers worked their way over the keys.

Though I do think the 2000-DT-TB-USB is priced a bit steep at $1195.00 when you can settle for a Model M for considerably less.
